thats a chachi243 special right there, complete with a dual layer UNI...... who needs silicone and rivets and plastic and a heat gun when you can just build a stainless zoom tube to the carby..... before all the dirt guys bash me, this is a supermoto specific part and would definitely SUCK in super ...

i think the clutch cables for the 5 hundees have a few more strands and a bigger (slightly) diameter cable housing, like a beefier version of the 125/250 clutch cables as well.......

well my take on the 7 ive built...the 450's are way easier than a 250F or X but the CR250R is by far the easiest.... once you get the cradle licked, the airboot and pipe and silencer practically fall in place.... very tidy... the 450's, well tons of room, but i had to mollyhawk everything to get it ...

As far as R&D, thats a bill the company should pick up, not pass on to the consumer.. thats the most backwards thing ive read on here in awhile. so your dad certified for 35 years shouldnt get paid more than a guy who has been certified for one year, as per your statement.......you must not own...

i wouldnt trim it, but i did use 2 pcs of 1/4" thick alum flat strap offset by a mallet in a bench vise with soft jaws and mine works fine..... cleaner than hacking those pieces up......and probably just as easy! Keep rippin'!

THATS where i put the coil on all my previous builds (all R models) but for the "X" tank, it won't work..... hence Bob's mile long coil wire....just teasin Bob..... i think Aliso's solution is the way to go with the X models....
