Looks nice.

What is the purpose again of the billet coolant head piece opposed to the independant rubber hose setup?

ive seen various people use that 2 into 1 coming out of the head. i know these bikes on gas have a pretty small temperature window they run at....anybody have over heating problems ? or is the 2 into 1 sufficient ?

my experience is that the 2-into-1 setup works fine. On a 500, it's all about laying off the clutch and haulin' ass! That keeps them temps down. BTW: nice stuff there Mikey!!!

my bike had overheating problems in the old chassis, but no temp issues in the gen-1 with a 2 into 1 setup

Actually as displacement goes up the the risk of overheating goes down, especially with a two-stroke.

A greater proportion of the heat goes out the exhaust on a big-bore.

My coversions run CRF250 rads and have cross overs at the top and bottom and they have never had an overheating problem and lots of people members here have seen my bike in action. I seen a bike running Evans blow all the coolant on the ground in some nasty stuff and my bike wasn't overheating. He's a member and might chime in on this to confirm this I just don't want to throw him under the bus...

Great job on the AL parts,Mike, you should make a kit and have it distributed by bikes dealers or your own web site.
Post up details and more pictures of the build.
To me your 125 conversion felt better than a gen 4 crf conversion but who am I to say..I'm sure you'll let us know.
Are you going to use your new fork design with rebound adjustment on top?
Ciao
