Gotta throw my two cents in here --> lol I read the thread on the "other" site and it seemed to me that "all" the people jumping down coldwinter's throat about not having a 500 was one guy named REDLINE (with an X2 by nate). I don't think the responses of one member of any forum ...

Jusr picked up the 08 Honda brochure--> here are the wet weights listed for each bike (with a full tank of gas)
crf 450 r 238
crf 250 r 227
crf 450 x 269
crf 250 x 253

the x models sure seem kinda porky (elect start can't help)

They are 1/4 UNC not metric. Buy some grade 8 so they don't bend.

Some info

Just to clear things up regarding the metric system. A meter is longer than a yard --> 39.4 inches versus 36 inches. Therefore 5000 meters is 5 kilometers and there are 1.6 kilometers in a mile so 5000 m = 3.1 miles
1000 meters = 5/8 of a mile
