my old Moose unit got crapped out and the new ones I see are paper thin. picked this up on ebay for 40 bucks. have worn it a few times, comfortable and built like a tank.

Old School  !!
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Dude, I had one back in the day.
It saved my life I believe.
It kept a footpeg from a headon over a jump from impaling me.
The footpeg dug all across the chest until it came to my armpit.
It pulled skin, muscle from under my armpit down to my elbow.
I had a correspondence with Torsten and thanked him for the great product, he emailed me back.

Natural selection favors Smart people, so nature selects morons to be slow and dumb for tigers and stuff too eat. But in our modern world there just aren't enough tigers.

i need one like that to go with my pants
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

Yeah, somewhere out there is a Hallman with a nice groove cut across the front.
Last time I had it I was living in Tampa.
Those were the best protectors available.
