As usual Roosty nice hardware

I have never shot the 338 but have shot the .50 a few times, what is the effective range on that round?

Effective range for soft target is supposedly 1200-1500y

the energy at the muzzle is 4856ft/lbs,
@ 1000y 1859ftlbs
@ 1500y 1288ftlbs
