dont know who here watches it on discovery channel, they're going to show a new dinosaur they found near morden manitoba. Whatever, its 1 mile south and 1 mile west on my great aunts property where most of our trail riding happens, same place i whacked my head on my youtube video.

I'll post a clip of us riding over where it was dug about a week before its discovery.
Anyways. it was all tarped off by the museum so i took the boy and we had a look, pretty cool to see the whole thing laying there, they say its so big it must have been the predator tot he mosasaur. and supposedly it had a spear from a giant squid or something in its mouth.

I always take my boy out and we rake the side hill to get fossils, the museum found a mosasaur last summer a mile north of me on another great aunts property, big 6"vertebrae exposed on the cow (bike) path is what lead them to it.

right here i'm looking down at where bro had made a climb attempt from the bottom of that gulch up towards me, now theres a green canvas bag and a pickaxe laying there so we left. In the musem picture theyve had a backhoe come and take the top 10ft off to get to the bones.

very cool, I especially like how the riding trail exposed more fossils. Next time some hippy gives me a hard time about riding, I'll tell him I'm excavating ;)
