Seems like a better choice than a cr500 motor if all it needs is the mounts made.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!

Kickstart looks to be a problem

you sir are correct. kicker area would need some material removed to allow the lever to rotate properly (cutting a half moon shape should do the trick). remote starter would eliminate all need for a kick lever but would hamper the bikes versatility.

Just do it, you know you want to.

Have you measured the rear engine mount to see if it will fit between the swingarm?

The output shaft for the chain drive is on the other side, will all that clear OK? Can you just turn a hub around and drive it in the opposite direction? I cant see why not? I think it would be awesome, I love the old Kater big bores, I have 2

hey I didnt say that it would be an easy build, to me the kickstarter looks like a deal breaker, if you cut up the frame to accomodate it than it will create a weak point

if there's one thing dad likes more than serenity… it's a two stroke engine on full throttle!

It's the other way around sir. You have to put the CR500 motor into the KTM frame!

100hp honda,
You need to do this for several reasons:

1. I read in a AJ interview that his crew is planing on doing KTM's next.
2. Its challenging, but far from impossiable.
3. You would be the first.

Just do it already... :P

If you have the talent and resources to do it, you should.
