I building a AF I have a donner 1995 cr500 I need to know if the wheels off my 1994 will fit a AF500 forks and will the front brake aslo fit off my donner on to my 2005 AF.
Just trying to save a little cash to put somewere else in to the bike for now.

I doubt if the axles are the same size but you could likely put the 94 rims on the 05 hubs. You would need new spokes for the 18" rear of course.

I know i'd looked up bearing part#s to do this and they're a common # that was cheap, I didnt think to look at a part# for the seal yet tho

Last sunday I was looking at the wheels on my 94 next to my friends gen 3 conversion and the axle sizes were different. Not sure of both but at least 1 wheel was different.

your cheapest route may be to lace the rims on your 95 to the hubs on your AF.

The rims I have are shoot anyways Is just finding some 2000 or latter hubs Now.
I realy don't want to spend the big bucks on those aftermarket ones.
Oh yea anyone know will the front brake off my 1995 fit the 2005 forks.
