Maybe the bike was built in 03 with a gen 1. I thought about that too. Surely he doesn't think the frame is an 03???

Ask him what makes it so fast. It looks pretty stock other than the pipe. If he had a 97 ported by Eric Gore then he must have a stroker kit in this one to be way faster.
