SVT is no longer so I don't know where this is coming from :? :?

It would be stupid to launch an SVT truck in 2010 and give it less power than a 99 model

Cool...I want one !!!..... but I wonder how many normal people are going to spend that much on the Raptor ( cuz u know its gonna be expensive) and then want to take it off-road to get it full of dust, sand and scratches ?? Hell, most people that buy 4x4's never even take them off road. I see so many Mexicans driving 4x4's all blinged out with lift kits, expensive rims and low-profile worthless off-road tires.

you know what though, when I was driving my old chevy I was able to put 2 bike in it strait, close the tail gate and fit the ice chest and gear bag behind the bikes against the tailgate 8)
I had to buy some wood and stuff from home depot and didn't even have to tie anything down. it was so nice that my next truck has to be a long bed

I'm with you and Danny. Ford doesn't offer a long bed F-150 anymore. If you want a long bed, you have to go with a F-250. I bought a 2004 F-150 last year with a long bed to replace my tired old '85 that has over 400,000 miles on it. It's great to through up to 3 bikes in the bed along with the parts create, stands, ramp, cooler box, gas can, boots, and still close the tailgate. It only has a 4.6 liter V8 but pulls just fine.

Nothing Dodge, Ford or GM produces really gets my attention. But a TRD blown 5.7 Tundra producing 505hp and 550lbs. - ft. sure does. I think the current Tundra makes the rest of the 1/2 ton market look pretty silly. You know it's bad when they compare an import 1/2 ton to domestic 3/4s.

ya, its too bad they are having so many issues with the tundra and a tailgate only rated to 150lbs, so it crinkles from rolling a rhino on a ramp up it

Ford's supercrew f150 has the 5'6" box standard with the option of a 6'6"
If you want a full length bed you have to get a standard or extra cab.

Its even worse with the Chevy 1500 crewcab, it only comes in 1 box size of less than 5'10"
Again if you want a fullsize box you have to get a standard or extra cab

SVT is still around and kicking.

In all of the driving photos of the Raptor, my one riding buddy Gene is behind the wheel, he's got an 01 CR250, I've ridden with him next to his house probably a dozen times now here in Detroit. They test out in Octillo Wells, and he's brought his bike out with him on numerous occasions.

The Raptor should get the 6.2 as listed in the article next year, so it won't be too anemic.
