This guys series of videos has been very informational thus far.

Interesting take that the housing boom was manufactured by the securities industry and the lending practices that were birthed out of it. It is really no surprise though. I just always thought the boom was being pushed by more local entities. Likely that I am just too simple minded to see the entire scope of this deal while it was happening. :lol:
