Glamis permit info...

Post by iggys-amsoil »

Reprint from the ASA American sand Association.

Can we get a sticky on this?

ISDRA (Glamis) Permits for the 2008-2009 season:

A new contractor will be selling the ISDRA permits this next season.
Permits purchased away from the ISDRA will continue to cost $90 for a
season permit and $25 for the weekly permit; however if you purchase
your permit at the ISDRA the cost will be $120 for the season and $40 for
a weekly permit. So to save money please purchase your permit BEFORE
arriving at the dunes. You will be able to help the ASA and save money
too by purchasing your permit from the ASA. You can purchase a permit
via our website or by phone using our toll free number 1-888-540-7263.
We anticipate that the permits will be available for purchase sometime
in early Septmeber.

All that means to me is that it's finally worth it to buy a yearly pass. I never do because I don't know how many times a season I'll end up going. But I know I will go more than 3 times, plus a yealy pass means you can live in Glamis for a year. All you need to do is move your rig a few feet every 2 weeks. That's cheap rent man, 120 bucks a year, just need a self contained home and you can say fuck property taxes.
Don't Clyde it, ride it!
