ways to clean/shine gold series pipes

Post by bigjay »

im going to put the fatty on my new bike but i want to clean it up first, got a little overspray on it and its got the typical light rusting on the head pipe ( hottest) area, any good ways to clean it without damaging the finish any further and once cleaned any good products to polish it back up? i dotn want to just start hitting it with abrasives or other types of metal polish as i dont know what the coating is on these and would definitly not want to screw it up. thanks guys

I used Mothers Alum polish, did great job and took care of the rust too.
