Fathers Day @ El Mirage

Post by AlisoBob »

Sweet ride today.. The boy did some serious Hillclimbing On his XR70 ( Well, serious for an 8 year old!) Getting him up at 5:25 didnt help... but he made it over the top after looping out a couple of times.

MADE MY DAY!!!!

I rode the recently restored ex Rjacks A/F... pretty nice Brit!

Brit brought some friends.. we got their son Timmy up on a Honda for his first motorcycle riding ever.... he did very well! Hopefully he will ride RED for life!

Spent some time chatting with the always lovely Miss Tox and held her "Baby" in the palm of my hand...

I swear that dog takes aaa batteries..... its almost unreal how small and cute it is...

We packed up by 12:00 to beat the heat..... A good time was had by all!

Al..... I will let you know when the next El Mirage ride is.... your boy will have the time of his life there....

Bob

El Mirage is pool table flat, for the little ones...

It was a kiddie ride, to get my boy used to shifting gears ( PW50 to XR70)

Damn - I was out there myself with the wife and kids. Even bought the wife a "Mojave Desert" girl tank top from some guy who came by in an old pick up. I camped there that weekend and made the mistake of camping on the lake bed - damn dust bowl! Come to think of it, I saw a 500 on the lake bed whooping the crap out of a pack of quads...repeatedly! lol. Was fun - but crowded! At least on the lake bed. I am done camping on that bed. Next time its up the road a ways...
