WANTED CR480 hub

Post by Tharrell »

I need a rear hub for my 1982 CR480.
If you got the whole wheel and it's in good shape I'll consider that too.
I was gonna respoke mine and when I took the sprocket off one of the tabs fell off. Sux.

I don't have any idea.
The fiche on 82 says "82-83".
The fiche for 83 has the same number but the suffix is different.

I've got a 84-86 hub don't know what they changed if anything between them its still a drum brake. I could get you some measurements to compare with the one that broke.

Here's the damage.
I could probably weld it up if I had to.
That is, as long as it's not magnesium. I haven't checked.
