picked up a motor at a swap meet sunday, no clue what year it is, cyl 8Lo479, motor pe02e / 5801023 any info would help thanks

thanks, all apart everything is there execpt kicker gear and spring, where the hoses go in for the water pump are a little rotted, cyl is mint stock bore, cases are perfect,$100

You want to order all the parts to convert it to the bigger clutch anyways.....

This includes the right side cover, which includes the pump housing.

You got it cheap, so do it right!

this is just a spare, we have 4 hillclimbers, just needed it for parts, or a backup dont want to dump to much money into it

89 case should be aluminum, weld it.
It will stil take the narrow clutch basket and a ball+hat lifter tho
