Spark Duration?

Post by fastkart »

I'm working on programming maps for an MSD ignition for my new build and need to know how many degrees of duration the various flywheels have... Stock 500, digital 250, etc, etc.

I am going to give you estimations but you will need to put a degree wheel on the motor to be 100% sure

1986 cr500 26 degrees
1993 cr500 24 degrees
2000 cr250 25 degrees

cr500 01....22 degrees at 4000 straight from the 01 manual[/quote]

that is the ignition timing
he was asking for the degrees of duration for the timing tab.
this is required input to program the ignition box
