Alky and Reed / Reed Boot Compatability

Post by Roostius_Maximus »

I know in my other alky experiences that it'll eat the rubber out of anything and i've heard its hard on the reed pedals

What brand will work with it?
are guys having to use a boyseen style aluminum setup to keep the boot from rotting?

I ran alky in my drag banshee for 3 yrs with v force 2's and upp rubber intake boots...never had a problem. I purged the bike WELL after every race.

I have not had any issues with alky eating the stock boot or the aftermarket boot for my 50mm lecton.

I run v-force reeds and have had no problems either beside one cage that cracked but that was from vibration

Just make sure to purge after every ride with gas premix
