Reason #234 to ride Single Track

Post by AlisoBob »

So, I'm zipping around Aliso Viejo today in the D-Max..... blow right by a undercover O.C. Sherrif cruiser.... Slammed black Crown Victoria, with pie tin hubcaps... He hits the rollers and pulls me over.

( I can allready picture Solid Bro Eric in my head.... laughing his ass off....he's always complaining about my driving.....)

Its at night, so I hang my hands out the window ( All my windows are pretty dark)

Cop walks up, asks the usual..... " Anything wrong with your license, any guns in the car?"

I say no to both.... (BUT I do have some good size mortars from Holloween..... SHIT!!!)

He comes back, asking questions about my license ( its a Class "A") and my medical card being expired... I tell him I'm not driving a commercial vehicle, so the expired medical is a non issue.

He goes back to his cruizer, and I get nervous and start fudging around in the back seat, stashing those motars... WHAM!!!! Fucking 1,000 watts of light fill my car..... His partner was standing right outside my 2nd passenger side door.

FUCK!!!!!!

I hear him unsnap his holster as he comes up to my window again...

" Watcha' Doing?" he askes. " My partner says your fishin' around under the seat"

Grapping a bottled water I say..... I show him the bottle in my drink holder.

"Mind stepping out of the vehicle" he asks...."

Yea , I say... I mind

"Mind if we search the vehicle?" he asks....

Yea, I do mind , I answer... Is this a traffic stop, or am I being charged with something?

He says.... "No , I just wanted to make sure theirs no guns in the vehicle"

I told him I allready answered that question.

He looks at me for 10 seconds or so...... and says this....

" So, you ride Singletrack??"

( A sticker in my back window says " Quads and Singletrack Dont Mix!!")

I say, Yea.... Singletrack friggin' rules.

He pauses again, then says... " So, do me a favor and slow down, and try to at least signal as you weave through traffic..... heres your paperwork back"

I tell him.... Just so you know, when I filp a U-Turn... I have a burned out right headlight.....

He's all..... " Great...... "

Dont know if this guy really likes singletrack, or too lazy to write me up.... dont really care....

....... lucky.

Lucky for you, he probably is a rider too, as a lot of them are so I've come to realize.

Fumbling around with anything is cause for suspision and just beggs asking for a search. I'm suprised they didn't.

Ratting yourself out is a bad idea too. :? It usually leads to bigger things, but he already decided to let you go anyway.

So thats whats wrong with you....D-Max owner....Now its all clear.

Funny how the cops don't know about the CDL med card. I've had to teach them what its used for and that my car and truck are not commercial vehicles. It's amazing how little they know about the commercial side of things.

Last I checked the plates isused to a pick up truck are commercial in nature? No.

Good video. Traffic laws including "Infactions" fall under the criminal side of the code. Imagine that
