what to bore for a piston

if I am boring for an 89.5 piston, what measurement?

You pretty well have to have the piston and measure it. I know Vertex has the actual piston diameter stamped on top of it. It was 89.44mm or 3.5211", add your clearance to that to get your bore. I doubt if a Vertex 89.5mm is the exact size as a Wiseco or OEM.

0.0027" to 0.0041", service limit is 0.005".
