i use a crescent wrench for the Big Ass nut on my rear axle. i also keep a large and small crescent wrench in my trail pack for just the occasion.
as for the impact, infinitely useful for removing/installing clutch baskets, flywheels, or anything else that otherwise requires the motor to be locked up.
