I'm originally from North Bend Oregon. my family home was 10 minutes from the Oregon dunes, 200 miles of sand heaven. In grade school we used to hike over the dunes to the ocean all the time. I grew up riding the dunes. My last dunes bike was a new 76 KX 250 (I moved from there in 79). also used to hammer my dads 67 bronco around the dunes frequently.
In school shop we would make sand surf boards out of plywood and glue laminate on the bottom. yeeha
