I just checked a brand new OEM I'm about to install and it weighs right at 3 ounces on my postal scale. It's not digital but seems to be fairly accurate.
82.16 grams is 2.9 ounces so robetg's pin is probably OEM also.

i just got the scale out for the old pistons i have
OEM 89mm 404.6 pin 82.1 69mm wide
prox 89.75mm 418.7 pin 79.4 69mm wide
636 wiseco 89mm 374.2 pin 59.9 60mm wide
554 wiseco 89.50mm 360.3 pin 84 60mm wide
weights are without rings or clips, and obviously there is going to be a small change with oversizes
i'll have a pair of 2 different new honda pistons to weigh tommorrow too.
