thanks for the feed back guys, im pretty happy with how it turned out. you really have to look hard to see its been modifyed at all.
it was actually less work than the first frame i did with a fabricated y section. ill post up some pics of it all bolted up. cheers.

Thanks man, i spent the weekend punting it around a natural terrain mx track, bit of a hand full compared to my crf 450, need to learn some throttle control thats for sure

I had not read the previous pages when I made my last post.It was worth a few chuckles to go back.
What got me so excited is, that is what my store bought Gen 3 looked like when it was new.(well, almost
) Now I am motivated to make it LOOK as new as well as being mechanicaly new.
I hope this is taken as the compliment as it is ment to be.

i didnt heat treat it, would be nice to,but i dont know anyone in the heat treating game, let alone trust enough not to send me back a warped piece of shit
but, it was fitted up right and welded right so i would be suprised if something cracks . one things for sure its not going to break sitting in my garage.my 450x has been getting most of the action latley

thats badass. i was waiting to see the final outcome. you should be proud man, very few look that good. was it a gen3 cr250 chassis ?
