Post by agent »

Q: do any of the newer cr/crf whatever have the same hole placement/fit as a 94 cr500 for the counter shaft cover ????

Not sure, but I usually don't run the cover on our bikes.

I think if you ride in alot of mud its better to leave it off cause it acts like a catch for the mud

The 92-01 CR250 have the same bolt pattern. Not sure on the 02 on up but could check if you absolutley have to know. I'm really doubting any of the 4 stroke guards will work. If you dont run the plastic guard,at least use the aluminum part that mounts under the plastic guard. It will half way save your cases if you have a chain fail. The other problem not running it is if you dont put the top bolt back in, which is a case bolt, you will never be able to get it back in because it will pack up with garbage.
