Americans and their guns...i'd rather kill things with blades or even blunt objects like baseball bats...it's more hands-on.
Do you guys all really have a gun(s)? I don't have no gun ( i wish i did though ), but my dad had four or so when i was little and i had two BB's and we'd shoot each other in the house.

Ah...yeah. Several. As far a hands on, theres just something to be said knocking shit down 250+ yards away! Besides, good people fought and died for us to have rights like that, so we all might as well honor the legacies of those that came before and in the present, so what better way to do it?Balaclava wrote:HAHA

Natural selection favors Smart people, so nature selects morons to be slow and dumb for tigers and stuff too eat. But in our modern world there just aren't enough tigers.

Right on man...I completely agree, it's just that people don't have AS many guns up here, it's just looked at differently in canada, i don't really know how to describe it...But don't get me wrong i love shooting guns and killing things, but you can't deny that if more crazy people went without having guns you would have alot less gun related murders...there's alot of weapon murders in winnipeg but not too too many gun murders...winnipeg is the murder capital of canada but it's still not that many. We actually had the craziest knife related murder go down here like 3 months ago. anyways if i was american i would have a mass collection. we just don't have the same right.JBaze wrote:Ah...yeah. I hear ya. You guys can't have hand guns right? Our biggest problem here, is that if for some reason they outlawed fire arms, only the outlaws would have them! Not to sound like a broken record. I don't shoot as much as I used too, but most of my collection are rifles that were handed down from generation to generation. I have a few pistols, I am not as fanatic as some but I figure if we have the right to do it, why not exercise it, besides if our bro's up in Canada nead a hand, we got your back!Balaclava wrote:Right on man...I completely agree, it's just that people don't have AS many guns up here, it's just looked at differently in canada, i don't really know how to describe it...But don't get me wrong i love shooting guns and killing things, but you can't deny that if more crazy people went without having guns you would have alot less gun related murders...there's alot of weapon murders in winnipeg but not too too many gun murders...winnipeg is the murder capital of canada but it's still not that many. Exactly, over here they have enforced such strict gun laws that is basically impossible to get one. I have stopped trying. Everytime I apply (takes about a year), i get the same response; "Denied.. lack of motivation" Thats after going to various competancy tests, interviews with your friends and family, gun safe inspection etc. I can't think of a better motivation than "I'd like to shoot the fukers that are trying to murder my family and steal my shit!"
But I could probably walk down the road from where I work and buy a whole bunch of illegal arms... Literally!

gun sales are sky high.
the tiny gun shop in Sylvania (adco firearms) did $250,000 in sales in november.......they have almost NOTHING on the shelves, and 7.62x39 ammunition is drying up fast.
all the local gun shops report record sales.
