I know this is an odd question but can anyone post up pictures of a 85 vs a 86 frame?
I have an old 80s aftermarket kit to bolt on convert a 500 to a trike but i can't tell what year the kit is designed for. I have pics of it bolted up to a 85 frame but it's obviously not quite right because of the huge gap between the seat and the tank.
here it is bolted on a 85 frame
I'm wondering if the kit was meant for a 86-88 or newer frame.
frame differences between the 85 and 86.

Honestly I'm trying to build the "kit" correctly for vintage/nostalga purposes. I don't want to modify the parts, in fact I want to figure out how to build the kit correctly to the era.
I already have a trike conversion I build for the sake of building one, it's actually way nicer than this thing would be once complete it's just that laegers made these kits in the 80s and its somewhat a conversation piece in the trike community.
