i just used this old pic to illistrate my idea. what if i shit caned the silencer and hooked a stinger tube up. ya it would be loud as fuck

just how i like it. doubt it would lose performance but would i gain anything you think?

I ran my AF for about 40 mins 2 weeks ago without a silencer in dumont, I lost some low end but definatly picked up some top and over rev.

It was a FMF turbine core that fell off on comp after a buddy on a quad picked it up I just kept hitting the hill, sounds friggin AWSOME

did it fall of at the conection joint? i could easily get a tube and hook it right at the silencer junction

Yea the lower mount broke after my dad dropped it and the extra weight/pressure broke the top bolt so it came off clean.

It definatly ran the hill better without it.

I'm 43, and have had a hearing loss ever since I was 15 when I thought it was a really cool idea to pull the silencer off my '76 YZ-125X. There was a really noticable increase in power...and volume. Cost me a Flight School slot when I was at Marine Corps OCS a few years later and the Navy Dr.'s said "Too deaf".
THAT pissed me off.

I haven't heard a mosquito or a cricket ever since. Wish it worked as well on the wife.

...sure was fun riding it that way though.
