20mm offset triple clamps, and pipe to tire clearance?

Post by dubious01 »

Does the front tire clear your pipe with 20mm offset triples?

gen 3 250 2stroke chasis?
gen 4 CRF250 chasis?

Post up for the others chasis too if you wish.

The 250 2 stroke chasis utilizes the stock bottom motor mounts, so those should have pretty standard engine angles,
However the 4 stroke chasis require new motor mounts and the angle of the motor is dependant on the builder.
Post side profile pics of your engine to show the angle it is mounted if you have them.

Thought this info might save some time and headaches for others as well.

gen 3 250 2stroke....

The PC's will but not the FMF's. I heated mine up and made a dent to clear it. Figured with all this power it wasn't going to make a difference that I could tell.

To bad I had to take mine off and put the stocks back on because the lower got bent by my huge get off last May. :x

There is a a bottom, just a bottom, 20mm offset on ebay right now.
Top is missing, and no post.
