put an IMS on my crf450x but the fit is really shit, one side fits tank perfect the other side is like a banana and the shrouds are a good 2 inch's from radiator. has anyone got any tips.

i know its a 4banger but im sure a few AF guys have fitted them.

ended up cutting up a set of R model shrouds i had lying around.
has anyone else had to do this to make oversize tanks fit.

I fitted an IMS 2.7 tank to mine for the conversion and had to enlarge the mounting holes on my shrouds to get it to fit. Seems like their quality control is not the best.
if there's one thing dad likes more than serenity… it's a two stroke engine on full throttle!
