CR500 cylinder at 88.25?

Post by 23champ »

I've got a guy that has a cylinder that he says he thinks came off a 94' CR500. Im interesed in buying it depending on what bore its on. I asked him to measure the bore and get back with me. He tells me he just measured it, and its at 88.25. I told him that they are 89 stock. He said hes aware they are 89 stock, he measured the bore twice and still came up with 88.25. WTF is up with that?

get him to zero his digital caliper
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.
