prox jets

Post by 100hp honda »

anybody know anything about these ? figured they might be the same as keihin since alot of prox parts are made at the same factory as oem japan stuff. should have some tuesday. $2.24 seemed like a steal if theyre oem qaulity. ill report back once i have a look.

I don't run anything but OE jets, I had a RD kehin copy burn up a piston before, cause the jet was actually about a 160 , not 192

Knock off jets are for D.F.'s....

Saving a buck is a bit of false economy.

Real Keihins are Drilled, then FLOWED, then Stamped.

Who knows WTF the flow is....

If you're not wary of ANY aftermarket part, you're a fool. Especially critical engine parts.

Do you run Chinese bearings?

if there is no K, I would chuck them. prox does sell some OEM stuff, so these could be oem keihin sold under the prox name, if so, then that would be cool.

Keihin all the way. It's still the cheapest part in your whole engine, so why skimp? Save a few bucks=a cooked engine.
If if doesn't kill you, it hurts like hell.
