I am an MPS victim as well. I have completely re-engineered mine, and have a billet headstay made on mill. That POS Headstay broke on me.

ALso the Y cracked all over the place. I ended up fishplating it front and back of the y for reinforcement.

My buddy has an 86 and i have an 01 motor. they are completely different to ride. the 86 is not as strong on the bottom and revs out further. THe 01 hits hard right away and signs off more quickly.

How much difference in the Trannys?

Im not sure of the CC's but with a compression tester if you are blowing 180-185PSI your doing good. mine requires 50/50 race gas/92 at 180PSI
