certainly is an engineering marvel. the cost-benefit of space travel seems pretty silly at the moment though. what was the purpose of this trip? price tag? http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/shuttle/shuttlemissions/sts126/index.html As for being "silly" and sweating the "price tag&quo...

I first saw them in September of '79 when Bon Scott was the lead singer and it was awesome. Believe it or not, there were only about 200 people at the show. I like both versions of the band with Bon or Brian Johnson as the lead singer but tend to like the Bon Scott era myself. Just got the limited m...

Re: gen 2 whateva

I have never ridden a 450. But I'm 6' 6" and 350lbs, and my gen 2 250 feels like a tot goat under me, I'm kind of after a tall stature bike and this 450 keeps popping up. Just kickin it around right now. I'm 6'2" and every bit of 350 lbs; the '02 CRF450 seems to work good for me. I had sp...

While there will always be sentiment for the original cast; thank God they didn't try to breath life back into to them again for another sequel. Like you say, this looks good.

Our little "snow" lasted all of about 9 hours and you couldn't even tell it had happened at all. Back up to 70 now and is supposed to be there for the rest of the week. The trick to living where hurricanes hit is not to live on the water or in any low lying areas. It's best to live in the ...

Clutch plates and springs?

What brand/model clutch plates and springs are best? I've always used stock plates with the exception of using Vesrah (sp?) once; didn't seem to make any difference. Is there a brand/model that performs better than OEM?

Way to go Balaclava, you really got me there! What's the matter? Too stupid to debate like a non-retarded person? Can't find anything intelligent to say so you resort to personal attacks? Do everyone a favor and STFU you pea-brain idiot. https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/dec66924ff3355c40591...

Hard to take global warming seriously

OK, I've lived on the Gulf Coast since I was 12 (now I'm 47). It hasn't snowed any where around here in the last 30 years and now it has twice in the last 4 years. Al Gore and all of you sheep that are on this "global warming bullshit kick" can kiss my fat white ass! Taken a few minutes ag...

Always liked their music, but Geddy Lee's voice starts rubbing a nerve fairly quick. A friend's dad saw a picture of Geddy Lee on an album cover and said, "That's the ugliest woman I've ever seen!".

I picked up a Maxxis Maxx Cross 110-90 / 19 from a local shop and it seems to be holding up fairly well. I hooks up great on most all surfaces on a MX track and I don't seem to have any traction problems on flat, hard-pack turns. This is the first one I've ever run and the only reason I bought it wa...

The video is a bit deceiving; the trails are fairly tight and the corners are covered in powdered sand that is like baby powder on top of slick hard pack. If you lean into the corner, your rear end will slide out from under you. It kept trying to rain and we were wishing for a quick down pour to mak...
