can this be used as a replacment for the gasket/orings at the head?....where the pipe slides onto the flange? .....by the springs...
I tried o-rings but it was spitting them out of the silencer when it was idling...

I just spent a few days freezing my pipe. It works SLOWLY. I was expecting to pop it out in one freeze. My pipe has several dents and was mis-shapen (staring to flatten tawords the outlet) and with the freezing it got better. Better to the point of more useible. I froze it 3 times with partial thaws...

well...ring endgap was at .065mm and ended up at .018mm after the new set of rings. This will be 'temporary' as I want to sleeve this cylinder back to std bore and plate it so it's a little more resiliant. I love doing top ends in my 125 (01 YZ) cause the cylinder is always perfect, cause it's plate...

Alright. Im lagging on this write up but Im good now. Here goes 1lb shrimp 1lb bacon BBQ sauce-good stuff preffered, lame BBQ sauce sucks. -cut the bacon.
