OK fellas, just wanted to show off my new roller. I've been eyeballing it on Craigslist for about a week now. '02 CR250 with 3hrs from new. It's pretty much stock except for PC suspension for 250 lbs with triples/bar mounts and Renthal Twinwalls. And who is the PC suspension setup for you might ask?...

Ebay should bring more than $300.

That black bike will never sell for that price with that many blemishes. Hard to believe the money people spend just to have the SH name. You could own 2 or 3 bikes for the same money if you built them yourself.

What would be a fair price for this bike?

I don't think he's on the board. He's just a flipper down in Miami. It met reserve at $3500+ but it's back for sale again. I think he bought it for about $3k. Looks like a super clean bike.

I thought the hot ticket was the 2000 boot. I read somewhere that the '00 and '01 had different carbs and the 2000 boot worked great unlike the '01. I think it fits right up to the carb. Not sure, though.

Yeah, I figured the complete engine with carb, harness, etc would bring $700-800. There's an '01 motor on Ebay right now with nothing on it going for $680 with a few hours left...doesn't even have a reed valve! Maybe get $100 for the exhaust. So, possibly a $300-400 roller!

You'd be lucky to get $2k for the X engine. Ebay is pretty crappy right now. R motors are going for an all time low. However, I think it's picking back up. Just to let you know.
