BR8ECM Is the standard "shorty" plug. It's used in KTM's.

If you want to spend some big bucks, and get even more clearance,
use this:
Plug: R7282-8
Cap: TRS1225

(the plug and cap are specific to each other.)

I have some old style ones laying around from 85's 86's.
They are different than the newer style cylinder ones, which I'm assuming is what you're after.

We usually send them for a set of Push Slaps,
a pipe stretcher,
the key to the V-door,
or get them to fill the water tank with a hose coming off the water tank.

I have pulled 3rd gear starts at the moto-x track with my 85/97 Gen1,
but it has 13/52 gearing. I leave it in 3rd for most of the track, but in the straighter stuff I will click into 4th, try to hang on, and then get slowed down before I get tossed over the berm.
