I've had a few requests for engine jigs, so I'm going to knock a few out. I have no idea where the collars went in the move as I threw a bunch of shit away and have a feeling those went with it!

Thanks guys and I'm bummed I'm so far from the dunes now. I'll build another one next year when my schedule slows down. I have a 2200SF basement I have to finish, so that's where my time and money is going for now. Mike, I'll give ya a shout if I fly in to Van Nuys for sure!

If you don't mind me asking, who did your numberplate backgrounds? I really like those - simple and clean. www.factorybacking.com I got the Bailey kit but it came with some crappy white backrounds, so I decided to do the stock yellow. Looks like my first cr500 back in 1985. Thanks for the complimen...

You might consider buying a new electric starter bike like a crf100 or whatever. I hear they are just right for women and others that are old and weak. I get the humor but, here's a thought, you might want to actually add something to a conversation from time to time. $.02 Seems that kind of ...

I talked to AJ a few months ago about this and that price you got is way different than what he gave me. He wanted 3 grand to do a four stroke and 1800 for a gen 3. This included frame, headstay, both Rads moded, brake lever mod, pipe and silencer. Pretty sure that 12 to 15 does not include anythin...

I have had mine in and out a few times with the jug on it still, no exhaust flange. I lay it on it's side and rotate it into position from the left. It takes a little patience, but it will go in just fine.

Hard Anodize  Yeah that's an 18 inch wheel and a 20" on the front. That 20 is going to be great in the dunes. I'm having a hell of a time trying to track down an 18" rim and spokes to lace up my extra hub with. My in at Excel does not even know when they are coming in as the demand ...

As long as it holds, I wouldn't give the welds a second thought. By the time you get the pipe on, you're not going to see much of the Y anyway. What thickness of material did he use to box in the top of the Y? I think I like that better than the bat wings. Good job. A guy of by Lake Elsinore...

Mik's GEN 3

I got the frame back yesterday so here it is in this new post rather than hi-jacking Crackers thread further. I think the fabrication turned out good and I'm happy with how the top of the Y is reinforced. I'm not real happy with how the welds look though, so I might look into fixing that after run i...
