Desert Scrambles.

I am thinking of riding the Invaders Desert Scramble August 22. figure it will be a good warm-up for Gorman GP in November and Catalina GP.

no one interested? this is my first desert race, i thought it might be good to go with some who's done it before.

gearing suggestions? was thinking of 15/48.

I'll do a desert race again but not in summer.
I would go with stock gearin, 15/48 it's too much, just because it's a desert race it doesn't mean it's all sandy and smooth.
Let us know how it went if you do it.

I went with 15/48 and it was perfect. I wasn't looking for a sixth gear like i normally do in sand.

he has a '92 close ratio trans, even at 14/45 those leave you hunting for 6th...
