Not bad...but you're gonna have a helluva time getting to your plug.

The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Yea maybe....Ill have to use a socket for sure.....I was able to fit a box end over it...but I couldn't turn it 360 degrees.......

i cant change a plug on my conversion with the tank on anyways.o5 crf 250/500
are the 450 framed conversions easier to plug change (tank clearance)
only posties ride 4 stroke hondas

I change my plug every two years, just for shits and giggles. Plug access isnt a big deal.

I'm more concerned about the 90 degree fabbed "elbows".... Those dont flow well at all.

Should have bought eriC's bent ones.

We're not the first ones to use 90 elbows or T's on the cooling sys.
I haven't heard anybody reporting any problems with overheating,I hope we won't be the first.
After all water is not very dense and the area of cross section of the tubing is the same.
I don't think the shape it's that critical.It should work just fine.

I have a ratcheting plug wrench, no problem breaking it loose or torquing it down. Now reaching my big old hands in there to spin the plug is not gonna happen, so its finger tips from both sides. Getting the cap back on is a chore sometimes :roll:

Plug?..wrench?....huh??......All I saw was your avatar......lol.....

I figured Id have to take the tank off anyways.....Im not too concerned with the flow....its a 2 stroke motor....not a nuclear reactor.....
