Some local riding
Some local riding
Went out with my son for some local riding this past Sunday. According to google earth, I should be able to continue heading north on the trail these photos were taken and it would connect to other trails heading east/west. Well the trail turns into rocky creek bed and we had to stop. Would of been nice to have a 2WD and a Rekluse for sure. Even started to snow - in late May. Global warming my ass!
Trail? What trail??

More view looking up.
Kid posing for a shot.
All in all - pretty good ride. Just wish I could continue on to discover the new "trails" that lie ahead. Maybe another day....

The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

funny, I remember the rockyness looking impossible, now I think I could totally make it to the top.
Next month I have a job in LA, I'll bring the bike in the truck and we're going to the top!
