Thats alright Justin, I just had an idea that'll makes us millions man, listen to this: you V-8 engine accelerates too fast fast off the line? Just remove the first 2 spark plugs! Put those little filter dudes in the holes so the gas in the cylinder doesn't blow out all over your engine. All we need is some duct tape, bailwire, and radiator hose!

HAHA

You know just today, I spun the tires on my Diesel and thought "if I just loosen the turbo hose clamps and let some boost out, it would hook up better"...

They already have done it.

1981 Cadillac Fleetwood V-8-6-4

These days, cylinder deactivation, or variable displacement,

When the engine is running at light loads, it's logical to shut down unneeded cylinders to save fuel, like turning off lights in unused rooms. But in 1981, when semiconductors and on-board computers were still in their infancy, variable displacement was a huge technical challenge. GM deserves credit for trying, but the V-8-6-4 was the Titanic of engine programs. The cars jerked, bucked, stalled, made rude noises and generally misbehaved until wild-eyed owners took the cars to have the system disconnected. For some it was the last time they ever saw the inside of a Cadillac dealership.

Can't seem to locate the news item but basically he lost control of his bike, crashed and died. He had a habit of asking valid questions but then ignoring the answers for what he wanted to hear. Much speculation over real cause of accident.

If I remember correctly, Spike was a young British dude who put a cr500 motor in a little 50cc street bike (very similar to a YSR50). He didn't listen that it was a bad idea, then he didn't listen about the safety f the fit and finish of his conversion, then his throttle stuck because of a kink in the throttle cable from like the seat or tank or something pressing down on the carb...

he didn't make it... :?

Some times it's not what you are trying to do, it's more the way you go about doing it.

Which could be bad / WRONG! / unrealistic / down right stupid, or just not thought through very well.
