buying a torque plate

Post by LOVEMYCR500 »

Did I see on here somewhere that someone was making and selling torque plates or am I mistaken? If noone is, I will make one, they appear to be about 1/2 thick aluminum plate, does that sound about right ?

I'm not in any kind of rush. It's a "just in case" thing if I need a cylinder bored local in a hurry rather than sending to Glen.

If I could have mine by the end of April I'd be in good shape.

do you think a 1/2" torque plate is thick enough? I have some 1/2" aluminum plate that I can make one of these out of.
