shit man, thats not fucking cool! thats why its good to camp in a group... a heavily armed group. I also sleep w/ my ruger 10/22 when I'm in my bed tent at dumont. Not that I'm so worried about someone coming after me, but if someone tried to take the bikes, I'm most likely to wake up from the noise.

Yeah I either sleep with my Sig .357 or my .44 mag under my pillow when I camp.

I've always wanted a s&w 629 .44mag, but never got one :(
I'm happy with my little .22, its dead reliable, super acurate, I buy 550 rounds for $8 and a .22 will still kill someone just as dead

I got the Ruger Super Blackhawk with the 5 1/2" barrel. It's damn accurate too.

This is my Sig....

.22's can definitely still kill someone. Like Bob said they rattle around in you instead of just making a big hole.

sigs are really nice. When I used to go to the range a lot, I was really impressed with the quality and tolerances on the sigs, they always felt tight and smooth. I had a friend with a kimber 1911 and a HK USP .45 and the sig (can't remember model) just felt so much nicer to me.

I got mine about 17 years ago and I love the thing. I am more accurate with the revolver though.

Damn!! I didn't realize I have had it for that long. Shit I am getting old. :P
