Yes it is a 2001 Service Honda conversion that could be purchased as a roller or as parts.

Thanks, I could not have done this without all the fabrication skills of my friend David VanMarter. He did all the cutting, bending, machining, and welding. Thanks alot David. More to come later

I love my conversion! Everyone i've let ride ride it does also. One of our camp buddy rides an 08 ktm xcf450. He said his bike feels like a tank after riding the honda. This past weekend my son was going to do a lap on the 500 and then one on his yz450. That didn't happen. Only action the 450 saw was a little pit riding!

Here is the finished product for now, I need to let the funds build back up then I will replace all the plastic, and make it look better. I rode it for the first time on sunday 8/30 and it is an amazing ride. Our goal was to build the bike to look as if Honda produced it, but with the quality of David's welds Honda could not have built a bike like this.

nice how much did you have to mod the tank

Not much, I had to shorten the fuel fitting and turn it around so that it is facing the rear of the bike. I also had to heat and reshape the tank by the right radiator. I used new 2001 CR250 radiators, but if I would have used diferant rads I may have been able to use the tank without reshaping it at all.

Is n36 the first person to use an AF conversion as a donor. :?:

A crappy conversion is only useful as a donor, but a good one you think would be best left as an AF conversion.
