Linkage?

Post by caseyracing222 »

I just finished rebuilding the motor on my 250. Long story short the rebuild took a long time to complete and the bike sat for about 5 months. well I got the bike back together again and when I sat on it the rear shock felt like it bottomed out in midstroke and wouldnt rebound. I first thought my clickers were off so I put them back to the recomended specs and that didnt fix the problem. I think the linkage froze up is not letting the shock work rite, has anyone else experianced this problem? thanks.

i siezed the bearing at the "dog bone" or whatever its called by riding in a parade while it rained then letting it sit for a week, had 1.5-2" travel then it would bind

Ok I took the linkage apart and its definatly the bearings that are causing the problem. the whole linkage system was only moving about a quarter inch. Im going to order some new bearings and then I can finally take the bike out for a test ride... FINALLY! WOOH
