On Tuesday morning around 3:30 am my Grandpa (Elmo) passed away peacefully in his home in Yorba Linda, CA with my Grandma (Oa) and all family by his side. Those of you that have raced with us over the years that had the opportunity to meet him know him as "Pete" and how much he loved going to the Hillclimbs. Although he never rode bikes, he was heavily involved with them because of my Dad and his Brothers passion for riding. He continued to come to all the Hillclimbs as Bret and I carried on the family tradition up until the last few years. He's a huge inspiration for all of us and the back bone for the Team / Family. We will be having a service for him and those who would like to attend are welcome.

Robby and Bret. I've known your family since the Saddleback days. I've traveled with the family to many hillclimbs. Always following the the famous green trailer known as the frog.
I first met your Grandpa at Saddleback in 1980. The good ole days. He always made time to come by and say hi to me. It is a true honor to have known your Grandpa Elmo. Dave and Tina
