A+ from one satisfied hoon.
I shipped my dirty old spare head off to Roostius Maximus for a decompression valve.
I have nothing but positive things to say about the service and communication.
Top notch service, and great quality.
I will be doing business with him again.

Man I've been wanting to do this and already talked to Roost about it. Just need the extra $$. Please give a report on how well it works. You gonna cable operate it? You using on your Gen1? I know that a Gen3 has more hand room - the Gen2 will be tight, I think.

Just installed this head.

100% no bull shit.....
It started from cold, first kick, wearing a pair of flip flops.
BUY ONE OF THESE.
My gramma could start this bike.

I forgot to take pictures during the install, but here are a couple crappy post install pics.
There is plenty of room to reach in and push it down with your finger.
There is no need for a lever, since the valve doesn't close until the bike starts.

That lever setup is bad ass!! Did u have to machine the perch part?

Looks really slick!! Exactly what I wanna do!

Thanks for the feedback guys!

I gotta say that I don't offer any actuator for the head cuz so many different chassis / tank combos are out there and preferences change, but these guys have made a dammn nice job of making the install as ergo as they'd like.

I used a 450 perch and hotstart lever on my '88 bike, which works pretty slick too cuz the pipe blocks access by hand, but in bush it gets a branch grabber, i think braapcr500 used an independant lever.
I like that thumb one Lynn. i'd taken one from the ktm shrapnel but never installed it, maybee on the gen3

adam is a penis. haha nah adam did a killer job and is a kick ass dude. i never needed a lever. push down, kick, she fires and resets her self. its a fine ballance between the size of the hole in the head. too big and it pops, too small and it really dosent do much. Adam got mine perfect!!

I may be in the market to get 2 heads done. They are going to be in gen 2's, I just have to figure out what engine I will run in mine. As of now I will most likely run a 90' and my bro's bike will have an 87' in it.
