Hello, I'm a desert rat hailing from AZ. Been riding for several years, and consider myself an expert level off-road rider. I dont hit the track much, but enjoy when I do. Currently I own an '05 CRF450R and an '01 YZ250 smoker. Reason I am on here is I will likely be the proud new owner of a '97 CR500AF - but have some questions about it... Anyhow - I've always been interested in owning a 500 smoker - particularly an AF. If this pans out I'll be a regular here, as I am currently on Thumpertalk - the place in which I was referred to here! Thanks!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I came to the right place as I have been educated and decided to pass on the '97 500AF - so I'll return to this site once I get around to doing a conversion myself - next summer prolly. Thanks for the help - I'll be back...

You don't have to own a CR500 to be a member.
