Neat, I guess I never told the story of when that happened to me. I was driving my Jeep down a dirt road here in Northern Az, when an Elk came out of the forest and launched over the hood of the vehicle. This thing was as big as a horse, with an ass the size of an elephant. It cleared the hood, and about 3/4 of the road in one leap. Then it tore off up the embankment on my left and was gone. Pretty scarry when it happened, and if it woulda hit the car, lord knows what would have happened. People get hit by deer and antalope and wild boars alot around here. Which reminds me of the time a giant pig shot out onto the road and clipped my trucks bed side. I looked back and the sucker got up, shook it's head, and bailed into the forest. It's the wild frontier up here. :o

I hit a coyote in my supra at 120+, it ripped the whole lower front of the car clean off, pushed the AC condensor into the rad and the rad into the crank pully and fan. A scissor jack and a new rad and I was back rolling again!

Ok my story. In Gorman, first time there back in 1980 on a 78 RM250. Dam, Brit wasn't even thought of then.

I think this trail is closed now. Probably about a mile up the side of a hill into the forest, one of those ones that has railroad ties across it and don't even look down to the right, Ya 300' to the bottom of the canyon, one of those ones that if you go over your not getting the bike out.
Finally the trail gets easier, first gear single track, all of a sudden here comes this squiral jumping high from the right, I catch his hind quarter with the front tire and send him spinning like three or fours times until hes hits the ground. Man I'm laughing so hard three corners later I dump it. My friend catches up and is wondering wtf I was laughing above. To bad he didn't see it. I still picture that squiral to this day.
